Specialties
Our Services
Bodywork to meet your needs and preferences. Neshama offers 60, 90, and 120 minute sessions with specialized add-on choices.
Massage Therapy
Swedish is the default, but you can select an Add On to request a specific modality. Massage lotion or cream is used with smooth, gliding strokes. Swedish massage uses firm but gentle pressure to promote relaxation, ease muscle tension, and create other health benefits. It is a classic massage that will ease your stress and allow you to slip into a calm state of relaxation.
Ingham Method Reflexology
A science which deals with the principle that there are reflex areas in the feet and hands which correspond to all of the glands, organs and parts of the body. Stimulating these reflexes properly can help many health problems in a natural way.
Pregnancy Massage
Pregnancy massage focuses on addressing the special needs of expecting women. Specially-designed massage cushions, and side-lying postures are used to prevent putting pressure on the abdomen.
Deep Tissue Massage
Designed to remove severe tension in muscles and connective tissues. This therapeutic technique targets deeper layers of muscle and fascia to address chronic pain and tension.
Myofascial Release
Uses specific techniques to stretch and repair the connective tissue between your muscles (fascia). This gentle but effective approach helps restore mobility and reduce pain.
Sports Massage
Uses a variety of massage techniques designed to help your body feel freer and stronger. Perfect for athletes and active individuals looking to enhance performance and recovery.
Hot Stones
Smooth stones are heated and then lubricated with oil or essential oils. The therapeutic effects of heat are used to relax muscles more deeply. Used as an extension of the therapist's hands, the use of massage stones induces deep relaxation and provides a unique experience many find to be tremendously calming and centering.
Cupping Therapy
Certified cupping techniques to improve circulation, reduce muscle tension, and promote healing. This ancient therapy complements our massage services beautifully.
FasciaBlaster
FasciaBlaster by Ashley Black is a massage tool for myofascial tissue, intended to stimulate blood flow and temporarily reduce the appearance of cellulite. Myofascial tissue, commonly called fascia, is primarily made of collagen. This thin connective tissue provides support and protection for your muscles and bones. Healthy fascia is flexible, but inflammation can make it feel tight and painful.
Aromatherapy
Aromatherapy is a holistic therapy that treats the mind, body and spirit. When essential oils are applied to the body during a massage, the essential oils enter the skin through the hair follicles where they are absorbed in to the blood stream and circulated around the body. People respond to the sense of smell on an emotional level more strongly than with any other sense. In fact, a single aroma can trigger forgotten memories and induce feelings similar to those experienced at that time.
